Description
Light silver-grey sun control film for lots of daylight
The sun control film RS 550 Silver light is self-adhesive and is installed on the interior window side. With a light silver grey finish it ensures a very good daylight permeability of the coated glass surface. The natural reflection of the window pane and thus the external appearance of the building are hardly changed: when viewed from the outside in daylight, only a slight reflection of the sun control film is visible. It is therefore particularly suitable for projects where light-flooded rooms and pleasant solar control are important.
Innovative solar control with 50% heat reduction
The heat generated on the window is reduced by 50% by the solar control film. This reduces the interior temperature in a beneficial way and promotes physical well-being. Due to its high quality standards, the window film meets the highest demands for professional sun protection: it is self-adhesive and is attached to the window on the room side. With a permanently clear view of the outside, heat, glare and UV radiation are permanently minimized.
Improved energy efficiency of the installed windows
The reduction of heat development in the building leads to a permanent reduction in the energy used for building air conditioning. The energy efficiency of the installed window glazing is sustainably improved. Once glued to the window pane, the protective function is permanently guaranteed. Costly operation and maintenance work, such as occurs with roller blinds and blinds, is no longer necessary.

The installation is done in a few steps
The window film is installed without bubbles using the so-called wet adhesive process. Thoroughly clean the surface to be coated and spray it with installation fluid. Remove the protective film on the back, spray the adhesive side and attach it to the window. Using a squeegee, smooth everything out from the middle without any bubbles and wipe dry, and you’re done. Any white discoloration of the adhesive will disappear within a few days.

Instructions: Ordering linear meters, cuttings & rolls
In just a few clicks you can decide whether you want to order linear meters, millimeter cuttings or whole rolls!
Shopping linear meters from the roll
Example: The film is available as linear meter from the roll in roll widths of 0.91 m, 1.22 m and 1.52 m. You need 2.50 linear meters from a 1.22 m wide film roll.
Step 1: Select the roll width “1.22 m” at “LINEAR METERS”.
Step 2: Enter “2.50” in the field left next to “Add to cart”.
Finally: Click on “Add to cart”. Done.
You buy 2.50 linear film meters in one piece with a width of 1.22 meters. Linear meters are cut individually from a roll and delivered as a short roll in one piece. You are billed for the linear meters ordered.
Ordering millimeter cuttingss
Please take the width and height of your window measured from rubber to rubber, minus 4 mm of leeway all around. Example: You have 2 windows sized 1.40 m wide and 2.00 m high. The correct cutting size then is 139,6 cm width x 199,6 cm height.
Step 1: Enter “139,6” at width and “199,6” at height at “CUTTINGS”.
Step 2: Enter “2” at “Add to cart”.
Finally: Click on “Add to cart”. Done.
You then buy 2 pieces of film cuttings with the desired size of 139,6 width and 199,6 cm height. The ordered film and € 5.00 for the cutting are billed.
Have whole film rolls delivered
Rolled goods (25, 31 or 50 linear meters in one piece depending on the film model) are whole film rolls. If you purchase whole rolls, you benefit from attractive volume discounts. To do this, please enter the desired numbers of roll pieces at WHOLE ROLLS. You also can send us an email to service@vonkuester.de. We will then send you an offer that you can then order. Cutting whole rolls to a specific roll width is also possible on request, please contact us.
Free film sample
If you wish we send you free film samples by post. This way you can easily test different window films before ordering. The sample is the size of an envelope (approx. 10 x 20 cm). It does not need to be returned after testing. Please fill in the fields below so that we know where to send the film sample.
