Description
Sun control film in gold with strong heat protection
The sun control film RA 220 Gold is self-adhesive and is installed on the interior widow side. After installation it ensures permanent sun control on the window pane. With 78% it achieves a very high level of heat reduction. The tint in dark gold is ideal for buildings with south-facing windows. The brightness on this side of the building compensates for the light loss caused by the sun protection film. This ensures a sufficiently high level of daylight transmission.
The indoor climate is significantly improved. Existing air conditioning costs can be reduced as a result of lower electricity costs. The energy efficiency of the coated glass pane is sustainably improved. In addition, 83% of unpleasant sun glare inside the room is effectively reduced. Eye strain, especially when working on computer screens, is effectively avoided thanks to the reduced glare.
Solar control for windows with elegant gold optics
✔ The gold-colored mirror effect of the film ensures effective solar control on the window. The coated windows look like new and have an elegant gold look. On the room side, the window pane has a pleasantly transparent color tint dipped in elegant gold.

Installation of the window film in a few steps
The window film is installed without bubbles using the so-called wet adhesive process. Thoroughly clean the surface to be coated and spray it with some installation fluid. Remove the protective film on the back, spray the adhesive side and attach it to the window. Using a squeegee, smooth everything out from the middle without any bubbles and wipe dry, and you’re done. Any white discoloration of the adhesive will disappear within a few days.

Instructions: Ordering linear meters, cuttings & rolls
In just a few clicks you can decide whether you want to order linear meters, millimeter cuttings or whole rolls!
Shopping linear meters from the roll
Example: The film is available as linear meter from the roll in roll widths of 0.91 m, 1.22 m and 1.52 m. You need 2.50 linear meters from a 1.22 m wide film roll.
Step 1: Select the roll width “1.22 m” at “LINEAR METERS”.
Step 2: Enter “2.50” in the field left next to “Add to cart”.
Finally: Click on “Add to cart”. Done.
You buy 2.50 linear film meters in one piece with a width of 1.22 meters. Linear meters are cut individually from a roll and delivered as a short roll in one piece. You are billed for the linear meters ordered.
Ordering millimeter cuttingss
Please take the width and height of your window measured from rubber to rubber, minus 4 mm of leeway all around. Example: You have 2 windows sized 1.40 m wide and 2.00 m high. The correct cutting size then is 139,6 cm width x 199,6 cm height.
Step 1: Enter “139,6” at width and “199,6” at height at “CUTTINGS”.
Step 2: Enter “2” at “Add to cart”.
Finally: Click on “Add to cart”. Done.
You then buy 2 pieces of film cuttings with the desired size of 139,6 width and 199,6 cm height. The ordered film and € 5.00 for the cutting are billed.
Have whole film rolls delivered
Rolled goods (25, 31 or 50 linear meters in one piece depending on the film model) are whole film rolls. If you purchase whole rolls, you benefit from attractive volume discounts. To do this, please enter the desired numbers of roll pieces at WHOLE ROLLS. You also can send us an email to service@vonkuester.de. We will then send you an offer that you can then order. Cutting whole rolls to a specific roll width is also possible on request, please contact us.
Free film sample
If you wish we send you free film samples by post. This way you can easily test different window films before ordering. The sample is the size of an envelope (approx. 10 x 20 cm).
