Description
Ideal sun control for south windows in dark grey
The sun control film cold steel 20 dark grey is self-adhesive and is installed on the interior window side. It once installed to the window pane, provides lasting high sun protection and an excellent panoramic view. It is ideal for use on residential and commercial buildings with south-facing windows. The brightness on the south side compensates the loss of light caused by the sun control film ver well. Unpleasant glare and heat build-up when exposed to sunlight are significantly reduced without affecting the clear view of the outside. The Cold Steel film offers excellent solar energy rejection with a weak reflection for a subtle presence.
With 70% rejection of solar energy, the quality film ensures a very good reduction in heat development when installed indoors. Ongoing energy and electricity costs for building air conditioning can be saved permanently due to the lower utilization. The energy efficiency of the installed window glazing is sustainably improved.
Excellent UV-filter against premature fading
The window film is equipped with excellent UV protection against premature fading of the interior: 99% of aggressive UVA and UVB radiation are effectively blocked. The specially hardened film surface guarantees a long service life and easy cleaning with conventional glass cleaning agents.
Neutral design – natural view & little reflection

Retrofitting the window film in a few steps
The bubble-free retrofitting of the window film is done using the so-called wet adhesive process. Thoroughly clean the surface to be glued and spray it with some installation fluid. Remove the protective film on the back, spray the adhesive side and attach it to the window. Using a squeegee, smooth everything out from the middle without any bubbles and wipe dry, and you’re done. Any white discoloration of the adhesive will disappear within a few days.

Instructions: Ordering linear meters, cuttings & rolls
In just a few clicks you can decide whether you want to order linear meters, millimeter cuttings or whole rolls!
Shopping linear meters from the roll
Example: The film is available as linear meter from the roll in roll widths of 0.91 m, 1.22 m and 1.52 m. You need 2.50 linear meters from a 1.22 m wide film roll.
Step 1: Select the roll width “1.22 m” at “LINEAR METERS”.
Step 2: Enter “2.50” in the field left next to “Add to cart”.
Finally: Click on “Add to cart”. Done.
You buy 2.50 linear film meters in one piece with a width of 1.22 meters. Linear meters are cut individually from a roll and delivered as a short roll in one piece. You are billed for the linear meters ordered.
Ordering millimeter cuttingss
Please take the width and height of your window measured from rubber to rubber, minus 4 mm of leeway all around. Example: You have 2 windows sized 1.40 m wide and 2.00 m high. The correct cutting size then is 139,6 cm width x 199,6 cm height.
Step 1: Enter “139,6” at width and “199,6” at height at “CUTTINGS”.
Step 2: Enter “2” at “Add to cart”.
Finally: Click on “Add to cart”. Done.
You then buy 2 pieces of film cuttings with the desired size of 139,6 width and 199,6 cm height. The ordered film and € 5.00 for the cutting are billed.
Have whole film rolls delivered
Rolled goods (25, 31 or 50 linear meters in one piece depending on the film model) are whole film rolls. If you purchase whole rolls, you benefit from attractive volume discounts. To do this, please enter the desired numbers of roll pieces at WHOLE ROLLS. You also can send us an email to service@vonkuester.de. We will then send you an offer that you can then order. Cutting whole rolls to a specific roll width is also possible on request, please contact us.
Free film sample
If you wish we send you free film samples by post. This way you can easily test different window films before ordering. The sample is the size of an envelope (approx. 10 x 20 cm). It does not need to be returned after testing. Please fill in the fields below so that we know where to send the film sample.
