Description
Bird protection film with highly effective rectangles
The bird protection film Rectangles is self-adhesive and is installed to the side on the window that birds fly towards. It offers professional bird saving for windows and glass panes. It prevents fatal collisions of birds on windows and glass surfaces with a success rate of up to approx. 95%. The bird protection foil has a rectangle pattern which is visible to humans and birds. The rectangles are arranged uniformly and are perceived by birds as an obstacle. The result is that they can recognize the coated glass pane in good time and fly around it.
The high-performance coating has proven in practice to effectively prevent bird death on glass panes. The foil is self-adhesive and resistant to humidity and condensation. It does not lose its adhesive strength even with large temperature fluctuations. Due to its high-quality workmanship, the window coating has a long shelf life. It has a scratch-resistant surface, a prerequisite for easy cleaning with conventional glass cleaning agents.

The decisive factor are size and arrangement of the rectangles
• An important criterion for the success of the bird saving foil is, among other things, the thickness and the distance between the rectangles. The distances between the markings may have – depending on the design chosen – be a maximum of 10 cm.
•We point out that individual widely spaced bird raptor silhouettes are not suitable for deterring birds from flying through. One reason is that the raptor silhouettes do not move and therefore do not have a deterrent effect. Another reason is that if the distance is too short, birds are pretended to be able to fly through.
Installation of the the bird protection film in a few steps
The bird protection film is installed bubble-free using the wet adhesive method. Clean the surface to be covered thoroughly and spray it with installation fluid. Peel the transfer film with the rectangles off the carrier film and align it on the sprayed window. Press the transfer film onto one corner and smooth everything out with a squeegee from the center, ensuring there are no bubbles. After drying, peel off the transfer film, the rectangles will remain permanently stuck to the glass pane.

Instructions: Ordering linear meters, cuttings & rolls
In just a few clicks you can decide whether you want to order linear meters, millimeter cuttings or whole rolls!
Shopping linear meters from the roll
Example: The film is available as linear meter from the roll in roll widths of 0.91 m, 1.22 m and 1.52 m. You need 2.50 linear meters from a 1.22 m wide film roll.
Step 1: Select the roll width “1.22 m” at “LINEAR METERS”.
Step 2: Enter “2.50” in the field left next to “Add to cart”.
Finally: Click on “Add to cart”. Done.
You buy 2.50 linear film meters in one piece with a width of 1.22 meters. Linear meters are cut individually from a roll and delivered as a short roll in one piece. You are billed for the linear meters ordered.
Ordering millimeter cuttingss
Please take the width and height of your window measured from rubber to rubber, minus 4 mm of leeway all around. Example: You have 2 windows sized 1.40 m wide and 2.00 m high. The correct cutting size then is 139,6 cm width x 199,6 cm height.
Step 1: Enter “139,6” at width and “199,6” at height at “CUTTINGS”.
Step 2: Enter “2” at “Add to cart”.
Finally: Click on “Add to cart”. Done.
You then buy 2 pieces of film cuttings with the desired size of 139,6 width and 199,6 cm height. The ordered film and € 5.00 for the cutting are billed.
Have whole film rolls delivered
Rolled goods (25, 31 or 50 linear meters in one piece depending on the film model) are whole film rolls. If you purchase whole rolls, you benefit from attractive volume discounts. To do this, please enter the desired numbers of roll pieces at WHOLE ROLLS. You also can send us an email to service@vonkuester.de. We will then send you an offer that you can then order. Cutting whole rolls to a specific roll width is also possible on request, please contact us.
Free film sample
If you wish we send you free film samples by post. This way you can easily test different window films before ordering. The sample is the size of an envelope (approx. 10 x 20 cm).
